PERCUSSION
The ability to prepare at least 30 minutes of Senior Recital repertoire at the level of or beyond the level of the audition requirements. The Senior Recital must include at least:
- One unaccompanied 4-mallet marimba solo
- One unaccompanied snare drum solo
- One unaccompanied multiple-percussion solo -or- one unaccompanied timpani solo
PIANO
The ability to prepare at least 45 minutes of Senior Recital repertoire at the level of or beyond the level of the audition requirements. The recital program must include one collaborative performance piece.
STRINGS
Violin, Viola
The ability to prepare at least 45 minutes of Senior Recital repertoire at the level of or beyond the level of the audition requirements.
Cello
Recital of at least 45 minutes of music from contrasting styles and eras that can include a complete sonata or concerto, unaccompanied Bach Suite, Études and showpieces, jazz performance with improvisation, chamber music, etc.

Bass
Recital of at least 45 minutes of music from contrasting styles and eras that can include a complete solo sonata or concerto, unaccompanied Bach Suite, Études and showpieces, jazz performance with improvisation, chamber music, etc.

GUITAR
A recital containing at least 45 minutes of music, which may include some chamber music, at least two thirds of the recital memorized –including but not limited to:
- Solo Classical (Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic, 20th and 21st-century)
- Song and Chamber Music
- Musical Theater
- Jazz
- Popular/Rock
- World Music
Repertoire is chosen by agreement with the studio teacher and will include a minimum of four major genres or historical periods listed above, at the level of:
- Dowland-Lachrimae Pavane
- Bach-BWV 995, 996
- Ponce-Sonatas
- Turina-Sevillana
- Brouwer-El Decameron Negro
- Barrios-La Catedral
VOICE
Sing effectively in at least 3 additional languages beyond native language and in multiple genres–including but not limited to:
- Classical (Early music, Opera, Oratorio, Art Song)
- Musical Theater
- Jazz
- Popular/Rock
- World Music
Repertoire list should reflect a minimum of 36 individual pieces for 8 semesters.
Completed senior recital with repertoire reflective of above criteria, chosen by agreement with studio teacher.

- Romantic Pieces or Contemporary Pieces. Examples: Preludes op. 28 F Chopin, P. I. Tchaikovsky “ Seasons”, D. Kabalevsky “ Sonatina” or other works of comparable or greater difficulty.
