About Joanna

The E&C program helped me to grasp the deep complexities of environmental issues, and provided me with the tools to proactively engage in challenging discussions as a nonprofit professional. The skills I gained prepared me for a position that requires regular collaboration with public lands agencies, community organizations, local Tribes, and a board of directors. Course activities and assignments helped me gain confidence, candor, tact, and other qualities that are essential to any leadership position.
