Job description: Rebekah Dickens Ohara is CEO of the Akaka Foundation for Tropical Forests, a Hawai‘i based non-profit organization dedicated to supporting biocultural stewardship, biocultural education, and sustainable livelihood development (http://www.akakaforests.org). She is a Phd candidate at Purdue University in the Forestry and Natural Resources Department. Her studies are focused on the pathways and opportunities for developing community-managed forests in Hawai‘i.
