Brown Bag Lunch Online Presentation with Patrick Cleary, President, Lost Coast Communications, Inc.:
The media landscape has changed greatly as a result of Google, Facebook and other tech companies. This class will look at how that affects are ability to get local news and stay informed.
Lost Coast Communications is an independent media company which offers the Lost Coast Outpost and four FM radio stations (104.7 KHUM; 93.1 K-SLUG; 100.3 The Point; 94.1 The Lounge)
Patrick Cleary has been president of Lost Coast Communications since 2003. He was former general manager of KHSU-FM, former executive director of Humboldt Area Foundation, and former general manager of the North Coast Co-op. Before moving to Humboldt in 1997, Patrick was Managing Director for Media & Telecommunications at Chase Manhattan Bank
