Ever wonder where your houseplants really come from, and how to help them thrive? Join this engaging, visually rich lecture exploring the origins, identification, and care of common indoor plants, many of which hail from tropical regions around the world.
After the talk, step behind the scenes for a guided tour of the campus greenhouse led by the greenhouse manager. Explore diverse plant habitats -- from lush tropical environments to cooler temperate zones -- and see firsthand how these ecosystems shape the plants we grow in our homes.
Whether you're a seasoned plant lover or just getting started, this class will deepen your appreciation for the vibrant world of houseplants.

The campus tour portion of this class will include walking up hills and stairs around campus, and may be challenging for those with mobility issues.
