Kathryne DeLorme, MA

Kathryne DeLorme discovered the labyrinth as a metaphor for the journey of life in 1995 and has been walking, studying, and teaching about labyrinths ever since. During her 20 years as an expressive arts facilitator, she incorporated labyrinths into her workshops as a walking meditation, a practice for seeking insight, solace or creative inspiration, navigating life transitions, exploring dreams, celebrating life events, and finding a more centered state of mind, body, and spirit. Her background is in transpersonal, depth and counseling psychology, expressive and sacred arts, and numerous spiritual traditions inform her work in guiding others to walk the labyrinth. Cultures worldwide have created labyrinths for transformational purposes since ancient times, and Kathryne brings an awareness of the myriad ways the labyrinth can enrich a quest for wholeness and wellbeing both as individuals and as groups. She creates rituals unique to each person’s intention for their walk and offers labyrinth-themed art activities to honor and express the labyrinth walk experience.
