Self-Massage as Self-Care Through the Ages

Are you interested in maintaining or improving your mobility, reducing tension, and enhancing your overall well-being?This engaging and supportive class will explore the practice of Self-Myofascial Release (a gentle form of self-massage) as a powerful tool for aging well and staying active. A combination of a lecture and guided self-massage session using tune-up balls, this class will leave you with ways to integrate your experience into daily practice to enhance health and wellbeing. You will leave class with your own tune-up ball to continue your practice at home.

Ali McCall

Ali McCall is a mom of three girls. She has taught yoga since 2009. She is trained in alignment, yoga for mental and emotional health, and in therapeutics and recovery. After becoming a mother, she noticed the importance of yoga for her own mental health and began advocating self-care for moms and families, and teaching the importance of self-care for a healthy family system. She inspires her clients to incorporate a daily self-care practice into their busy lives, and encourages them to model self-care for their families. Ali's mission is to teach her clients how to manage stress and recover from burnout with a focus on mental and emotional health, yoga, strength, and mobility. Ali helps her clients to nurture their resilience, restore balance, and prioritize their well-being.
