Participate in Faculty Research
Faculty research is a key element to our program. You will have the oportunity to serve as a participant in research studies, assist faculty with active research projects and labs, and present and publish research. Each year, 20-40 of our students attend professional conferences where they present their work. You may also electing to take Senior Honors Thesis (PSYC 490), where you will design and carry out your own research project.
Psychology Club and Psi Chi Honor Society
Psychology Club and Psi Chi work together to give students the opportunity to learn more about psychology through guest speakers, field trips, and other activities. We arrange social events with the goals of fun and fundraising, so that as many people as possible can participate in our events.
Scholars of Academic Research
Scholars of Academic Research is a club that hopes to create and foster an environment that encourages student's interest in psychological research. The club consists of psychology undergraduate and graduate students. This mix allows for different knowledge and understanding levels and for important mentorships to exist.
Latiné Psychological Association
The Latiné Psychological Association (LPA) is a club that promotes the success and well-being of Psychology Latiné students by celebrating and honoring a shared identity and culture characterized by many strengths. We provide academic and professional development opportunities and create a supportive community by fostering a safe and inclusive environment. The club is open to students who identify as Latiné and their allies. LPA is open to all majors and racial/ethnic backgrounds.
