Research Participation Pool
Students enrolled in our Introductory Psychology course learn about research by participating in research studies. Research participation provides students an important first-hand view of psychological science. After completing basic courses in Psychology, many students collaborate on faculty research as research assistants.
Student experiential learning is a fundamental educational goal for the Psychology Department.
Students can engage in experiential learning by
- Serving as a participant in a research study. Click here to enroll.
- Assisting faculty with active research projects and labs. Click on the individual Research Labs below for information on how to join.
- Presenting and publishing research. Each year, 20-40 of our students attend professional conferences where they present their work.
- Electing to take Senior Honors Thesis (PSYC 490), where you will design and carry out your own research project.
