Chester Collins Scholarship
The Dr. Chester Collins Memorial Psychology Scholarship is awarded to full-time graduate or undergraduate Psychology majors who have shown evidence of involvement in and commitment to the discipline of psychology, and who have a 3.0 or better cumulative GPA. Amounts and numbers of scholarships are estimates, dependent on funding.
Award: $1500 Undergraduate, $2000 Graduate
Deadline: April 15
To apply, please visit the Humboldt Financial Aid website and complete their scholarship application form (Opens November 15) as well as an essay describing involvement in and commitment to the discipline of psychology. Evidence may be in, but not limited to, research, community work, employment history, etc.
Gardner Assistantship
Undergraduate students who are working in a research lab in the Psychology Department at Cal Poly Humboldt may apply for a paid research assistantship. The goal of this assistantship is to provide undergraduate students seeking graduate degrees with financial support and research experience to help them prepare for their desired graduate/professional programs.

Award: ~$4,500 (note 15-20 hours of paid work per week is required to incur the total award)
