Welcome to the Wildland Fire Lab of Cal Poly Humboldt's Department of Forestry & Wildland Resources. Our research explores fire science and ecology research to better understand and manage fire-prone ecosystems. We conduct research across many scales ranging from small laboratory burning experiments to large landscape modeling projects.
