October 29, 2025
Good morning and happy Wednesday. I hope you are having a good week. Thank you for all that you are doing to support the success of our students.
Divisional Presentations from Administration and Finance, University Wide, Advancement and the President’s Office were provided to the campus community on October 24, 2005. If you missed the live presentations, you can find the presentation recording and respective division slides posted at this link: URPC Meeting Schedule and Notifications.
Immediate Access Program
The Immediate Access Program provides students with affordable, digital course materials available in Canvas up to five days before classes begin. Faculty can opt in to the program to ensure all students have access to required materials before class starts. Charges are applied directly to student accounts and covered by applicable financial aid, while students retain the option to opt out through the add/drop deadline. The program simplifies material access, supports equitable learning, and offers students significant financial savings on their course materials.
To learn more about the program, please contact the Campus Bookstore Manager Chris Leach at c.leach@follett.com.
Make-up and Alternative Testing Before Finals Week
Finals Week is coming up on December 15th through 19th, 2025, during which the Testing Center will be dedicated exclusively to Campus Disability Resource Center (CDRC) student exams. Due to limited seating and a high volume of accommodated exams, the CDRC is unable to proctor make-up or alternative test time exams for other students during Finals Week. Students needing to take a Make-up or Alternative Test Time exams should schedule on or before December 12th, 2025 using the Make-Up Exam Request Form found at this link: Make-up Exam Categories.
Make-up Exams are a two-step process requiring 1) Instructor Approval, and 2) Advisor Approval (including the approval of any advisor from CAREs, CDRC, or the Testing Center. The Testing Center can only approve and verify Athletes and Academic Events). To keep things running smoothly, the Testing Center kindly requests that you please do NOT send students to the Testing Center, instead advising that their requests be submitted online. Thank you for your help communicating this to your students!
