Pete Narensky

Recently retired after 24 years of service with the U.S. Customs Service and Department of Homeland Security serving as a Criminal Investigator. Mr. Narensky most recently achieved the rank of Assistant Special Agent in Charge and led a Financial Crimes Taskforce in Long Beach, CA. Mr. Narensky has started a second career working as Head of Security for the West Coast for a large global logistics company.

Katrina (Katie) S. Hagen Radlick

Katrina "Katie" S. Hagen Radlick, 1994, Politics and French, was appointed by Gov. Brown as the Chief Deputy Director of Operations at the state Dept. of Human Resources in March. Prior to this appointment, Radlick served as the Chief of Human Resources at CalPERS, the California Public Employee Retirement System. She is also an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of San Francisco teaching Human Resource Administration

Conrad L. Huygen

Maj Conrad L. Huygen (BA, Geography '94) has been selected for promotion to the rank of Lt Col, USAF. He is a judge advocate currently serving as an executive officer to the Assistant Vice Chief of Staff of the Air Force at the Pentagon.

Pamela Schwartz recently started a business working freelance as a presentation design specialist at www.butterflypam.com. A Powerpoint design pro, Schwartz specializes in helping business present a professional presentation. Schwartz also still paints and has a thriving art career.

Conrad L. Huygen

Geography, 1994

Conrad L. Huygen, Lt. Col. (ret), USAF, B.A. Geography ’94, has returned to Washington, D.C., and is the Deputy Chief of the Defender Services Office at the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts. Dedicated to providing the assistance of counsel for individuals who cannot afford a lawyer, his office funds, trains, and supports the more than 3,600 federal defender personnel and 10,000 private panel attorneys appointed to represent clients under the Criminal Justice Act. Conrad’s wife, Julie, has been promoted to Colonel and is the Chief of the Air Force’s Military Justice Division at Joint Base Andrews, MD. The Huygens live in Alexandria, Va.

Conrad L. Huygen

Conrad L. Huygen, 1994 Geography, retired from the Air Force JAG Corps as a lieutenant colonel after a distinguished military career that also included enlisted service in the Army and the Coast Guard. He served four assignments as a trial defense counsel, was an executive officer to the Assistant Vice Chief of Staff of the Air Force, and deployed to the Combined Air and Space Operations Center (Combat Operations Division). Huygen and his wife, Julie, plan to stay in the Denver area where he will teach, travel, write, run, cycle, ski, fish, and brew every day the sun shines.
