Our daughter turned 3 in Sept and we have added a new member to our family, Cooper a Black and white long haired Chihuahua.

Kenneth Davis, 2001 Film Production, founded a postproduction firm in the Baltimore/Washington area in 2002 that provides services to videographers, corporate/government clients, independent filmmakers and media enthusiasts. Davis remains active with SCUBA and adoring his new niece, Krista.

Rebecca Beard ('01, Art) is currently on the Privacy Leadership Team at Meta where she focuses on Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, and Device spaces. She leads a team of global managers who develop privacy practices to protect users' data in the development of the Metaverse. She completed her MBA from SFSU and EMBA from Yale.
Brian Benfer
Art, 2000
Brian Benfer ('00, Studio Art) was named a Fulbright Scholar and Associate Professor of Art at the Art Academy of Latvia. His research revisits the history of the exchange program between the Art Academy of Latvia and Cal Poly Humboldt, one facilitated by the late Latvian-American Sculpture Professor, Maris Benson. Living in Riga, Latvia during the invasion of Ukraine, he also co-authored a publication with Dr. Courtney Queen on the impact of the occupation on the local community.
Anthony Medrano
Politics, 2000
Anthony Medrano, 2000 Politics, worked at Ohio University for a few years and moved back to Hawaii before finally settling down near Lake Mendota, Wis., where he is a doctoral candidate in the Department of History at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Currently, Medrano is several miles away in Malaysian Borneo, conducting dissertation research as a Fulbright fellow. Medrano’s interest in the social history of oceans stems from his formative years at Humboldt and its intellectual ecology.

Jenna Higgins, 2000 Journalism & Mass Communication, is the Director of Development for Bread of Life Mission in Seattle. The mother of two children, Higgins is happily married and living in Issaquah, Washington. She loves to write in her spare time and has published two event planning books.
