Join us for a tide-dependent canoe adventure through the serene waters of the Eureka Slough—a saltwater wetland nestled within Humboldt Bay. This calm, flat-water paddle is perfect for beginners and seasoned explorers alike, offering a peaceful way to connect with nature.

Guided by our skilled naturalists, you’ll learn foundational canoeing techniques while discovering the rich cultural history, diverse ecology, and unique tidal rhythms of the slough. Keep your eyes peeled for harbor seals, herons, egrets, raptors, and flocks of migratory shorebirds that make this one of California’s top birding destinations.

No canoeing experience necessary—just bring a friend, your curiosity, and a sense of adventure. We’ll take care of the rest.
