Aquatic gear, such as canoes, kayaks, hard shell paddleboards, and sailboats for the experienced sailors, may be rented and picked up at the Humboldt Bay Aquatic Center (HBAC) at 921 Water Front Drive, Eureka, CA  95501. See Google Map for directions. Reservations can be made in person or by visiting the HBAC Reservation Website.

Rig-to-Rent
Sailboat Rentals

Are you an experienced sailor looking to rent one of our sailboats? Our Rig-to-Rent program allows you to display your sailing competency to an instructor and be checked off to rent one of our Laser dinghies or Catalina Coronado-15s.

The Rig-to-Rent program involves passing a written test, demonstrating proper rigging skills while setting up the boat, and then performing a series of basic sailing maneuvers on the water to finish your check off process. All Rig-to-Rents and sailing rentals must be scheduled ahead of time. Please call us (707) 443-4222 or email us OutdoorAdventures@humboldt.edu to set up your appointment.
