Child Development Lab

The Child Development Lab (CDL) has served the community for more than half a century, since 1968. Promoting diversity and equity, our preschool program offers inclusive learning experiences for children and families in Humboldt County.

The CDL is a state-licensed preschool, accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). The CDL is operated by the Child Development Department in the College of Professional Studies at Cal Poly Humboldt. The CDL is in integral part of the Child Development Department's academic instructional program.

The CDL offers morning and afternoon preschool programs for children 2 years and 9 months up to 5 years in age and operates 15 weeks per semester.

If you have questions about our program and future enrollment, please see the Enrollment Page for more information.
