Fund established to provide at least one full-time undergraduate or graduate Cal Poly Humboldt student annually with a minimum $1,000 scholarship who has served in the United States Coast Guard. If no eligible applicant has served in the US Coast Guard then second preference is for a recipient whose parents served in the US Coast Guard. If no eligible recipient meets the criteria for #1 or #2, the scholarship will be awarded to a graduate of a Humboldt County High School. The scholarship is renewable as long as the recipient is maintaining satisfactory academic progress.
