Nursing, B.S.

Ready to turn your passion for helping others into a career that truly changes lives? Our Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program isn't just about improving your clinical skills; it's about becoming a leader and an advocate for the communities that need it most.

Whether you're drawn to the unique challenges of rural healthcare or inspired to work alongside underserved communities, this program gives you the tools to bridge the gap in health equity. We believe that to take care of others, you have to holistically understand them and yourself.

Transform yourself and your community! Earn your BSN to lead healthcare changes, address health inequities, and champion social justice.

Why this Program

Small Cohorts

Establish meaningful connections with your classmates, professors, and advisors through small cohorts. Whether in person or virtually, your professor will meet with you to provide frequent and meaningful feedback and you will also have access to a professional advisor.

Experiential Learning Opportunities

Diversify your work experience through practicum placement in new communities. You will be eligible for Public Health Nurse (PHN) certification after completion of your degree.

Hybrid Model

Earn your BSN in a hybrid program built for your real life. Complete your coursework online from home and connect through just two weekend intensives per semester, one in person in beautiful Humboldt County and one virtual, so you can balance work, school, and everything in between.
