Julio Martinez (he/him/they/them)

Health Educator and Oh Snap Coordinator

Hello y'all! My name is Julio. I was born and raised in East Los Angeles and Boyle Heights. I came up here in 2013 and graduated in 2024 with a B.A. in Anthropology with an Emphasis in Cultural & Biological. Life happens, and college is a marathon and not a race. I oversee the Oh SNAP! food program at Cal Poly Humboldt, working on ways to increase food accessibility on campus for our wonderful students, address the food insecurity students face, and create community and build relationships through food. Food is a human right!
