Start your Sunday with a peaceful paddle through the quiet morning waters of Humboldt Bay. As the sun rises and the tides shift, wildlife stirs—offering one of the best windows to spot harbor seals, herons, egrets, raptors, and migratory shorebirds. Bring your binoculars, a friend, and a sense of wonder as we explore one of California’s most vibrant coastal ecosystems.

Guided by our experienced naturalists, this calm, flat-water canoe trip is perfect for beginners and seasoned paddlers alike. Along the way, you'll learn about the unique ecology, cultural history, and tidal rhythms of the bay, all while building basic canoeing skills in a safe and supportive environment.

No canoe experience required—just a love of nature and a willingness to try something new. It’s the perfect way to wake up your senses and reconnect with Humboldt’s wild side.
