Join Us for Humboldt Bay Aquatic Center’s Last Paddle of the Season
Before the Humboldt Bay Aquatic Center closes for a couple of months this winter, we’re inviting the community to get out on the water one last time. This free event is open to everyone — all ages, skill levels, and interests are welcome.

Arrive by 12:00 p.m. to join the tour that fits your interests. Our guides will teach paddling skills, share interpretation about Humboldt Bay, and provide safe boating education so you can explore your local waters with confidence.
What better way to spend a crisp fall Saturday than out on the bay?
Register in advance to secure your spot. Each tour can accommodate up to six participants.
Program Fee Includes:
On-land and on-water kayak/canoe/paddleboard instruction, all necessary gear (kayak, canoe, paddleboard, paddle, PFD, wetsuit, booties, splash jacket), and expert interpretive and safety guidance from our experienced staff throughout the adventure.
Equipment: For aquatic programs all participants are required to wear a wetsuit, booties/ water shoes, and life jacket. These items are required for safety of the participants and reducing risk of injury or incident.
Vessel: This activity uses a wide variety of kayaks. Requires the ability to sit upright with a supported backrest and use a paddle.
Transportation: Transportation is not provided for this activity. All participants will meet at the Humboldt Bay Aquatic Center, located at 921 Waterfront Drive, Eureka CA.
Facility: The Humboldt Bay Aquatic Center is equipped with an ADA compliant front door and an elevator. The facility has restrooms and locker rooms with showers. Please note if you would like to use a locker, the lockers are not equipped with locks but you are welcome to bring your own. There is a boat ramp that leads to our floating dock which changes grade based on the tide. All other walkways around the facility are flat and paved.
