Discover Humboldt: Hike at Headwaters Forest Reserve

Location: Headwaters Forest Reserve - Meeting at Library Circle

Age: 18+

Join us for a 5-mile hike through the breathtaking Headwaters Forest Reserve as part of our Discover Humboldt series! This old-growth redwood ecosystem is rich with history, biodiversity, and stunning scenery. Along the way, you may even see the Coho Salmon run!

This is only $5 for Cal Poly Humboldt students.

Transportation is included.

Trail: The first mile of trail at this location is ADA accessible, gravel path. After that, it transitions to dirt and/or woody terrain that is still flat and wide. The trail length varies on what each group decides, but is not longer than five miles total.

Transportation: Transportation is provided for this activity. All participants will be meeting at Library Circle on campus and traveling in Outdoor Adventures' vans to the trip location.
