Women's Backpacking in the Trinity Alps

Ladies‑Only Bear Lakes Backpacking Bash

Trail Details:
This 11‑mile out‑and‑back trail winds deep into the heart of the Trinity Alps, leading adventurers to two stunning alpine lakes. With 3,471 ft of elevation gain, this route is best suited for intermediate backpackers and/or avid hikers. While the beauty is undeniable, the journey demands preparation, especially for the sustained 5.5‑mile ascent with a loaded pack.

We strongly encourage participants to condition their bodies ahead of time; backpacking is rarely easy, and this trail is no exception. Though challenging, it’s a rewarding endeavor for those in solid physical condition, and we want to set clear expectations to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.


Program Fee Includes: Seasoned professional guides who have backcountry medical training, transportation to and from trailhead, backcountry permits, and 4 fully prepared meals (2 dinners & 2 breakfasts). Program fee also includes a backpack, sleeping pad and bag, trekking poles, and numerous other pieces of equipment necessary for the trail.


Pre-Trip: This pre-trip is required if you are registered for this course. The pre-trip not only covers details of the trip, but also fits you to all of the gear that you will need for the duration of the course. Please check the registration page to see the date and time of the pre-trip for this course.
