Youth (10-14) Sailing Summer Camp

Time: 9 AM–4 PM

Location: Humboldt Bay Aquatic Center

Age: 10 - 14 years old (must be 10 years old by the first day of camp)

Cost: TBD

Due to an emergency with our instructor, the activity will be changed from sailing to Youth Aquatic Camp. 

 

This 5-day summer camp teaches the basic skills necessary to sail small vessels including the Laser & Coronado 15 sailboats. Junior sailors learn boat rigging, points of sail, capsize recovery, boat handling skills, situational awareness, and more while making friends. This course is sure to provide a safe and supportive learning environment for youth of all skill levels.

Monday - Friday
The week will be spent engaging in hands-on learning, having fun races, and learning to play some great sailing games!

Program Fee Includes: All aquatic equipment, wetsuits, paddle jacket, and a snack each day
