All Ages Welcome!
Explore our local ocean and beach ecosystems with our very own Marine Naturalist. Each tour includes educational activities tailored to meet your group's needs.
Self-Guided Tours - Free
We offer self-guided tours where you can walk through our amazing marine laboratory and visit our seven aquaria and touch tanks.
Naturalist Guided Tours - $5 per person
Advanced scheduling required.
30-45 minutes
Our Naturalist will guide your group through our seven aquaria and touch tanks and answer all your questions. The tour can be tailored to meet your curriculum requirements or area of interest.
*Guided tours are available for free for prospective students of the university at advanced request*
Microscope Activity - $5 per person
Advanced scheduling required.
25-40 minutes
Get a deep dive into the life of a Marine Biologist. Discover our smallest invertebrates through the lens of a microscope. Live animals your group can observe include sea stars, anemones, barnacles, amphipods and more.
Beach Tidepooling - $50 per group
Advanced scheduling required.
60-90 minutes
Explore the tidepools near the Marine Lab with our Naturalist. Depends on the tide cycle and may not be available on your desired date.
