Program Mission
Hand-in-Hand meets the needs of children and youth in foster care, as well as those impacted by low-income, houselessness, and other barriers. Volunteers provide a positive and supportive environment for children to engage in activities that increase self-esteem, build trust and help develop prosocial relationships with consistent adults.

Service, Goals & Projects
Volunteers work with children and youth at schools, community centers and family shelter sites. They provide a variety of hands-on group activities that encourage excitement about learning, including reading books, arts and crafts, games, outdoor recreation, and sports. Our goal is to inspire children/youth to flourish through relationship building and activities that boost self-esteem.
