About
Us

The Asian, Desi, Pacific Islander, Middle Eastern, and North African (ADPI+MENA) Center provides academic and social support to students of Asian descent. After decades of advocacy work, the ADPI+MENA Center became one of the Centers for Inclusive Academic & Career Excellence at Cal Poly Humboldt in 2026, providing students with a space to study, share their cultural heritage, and develop meaningful connections.

The History and Symbolism of Our Logo

The ADPI+MENA Center logo was designed by former student Heng Yam in 2025 and was later adapted and finalized by the university in 2026 to become the official center logo. Each pattern represents the geographical diversity of the Asian diaspora, while the infinite knot at the center symbolizes our connectedness.
