Nate Heron
Administration and Finance Vice President
Nate's Statement for the 2026 Election:
My name is Nate Heron, and I am a third-year student studying Environmental Science and Geospatial Analysis. I am excited to run for re-election as your Administration and Finance Vice President.
During my current term chairing the Sub-Committee on Finance, we distributed over $45,000 in grants to 40 different student groups. These funds supported travel, professional development, and on-campus initiatives. I am proud of the work that we have accomplished thus far in allocating student fees back to the students and building financial transparency across campus.
If re-elected, my top priorities will be to continue advocating for all students’ needs and creating more approachable resources to help students understand university finances. With your vote, I will represent student voices across all areas of campus, improving the impacts of student fees, from dining meal plans to classroom supplies.
