Educate, Allocate, Advocate - It's What We Do!
We EDUCATE
the student population regarding matters that affect them - from local and national elections to campus events, A.S. strives to keep the students informed.
We ALLOCATE
student fee dollars back to programs, departments, and events that support the student experience at Cal Poly Humboldt. Each student pays a $68 per semester Associated Student Body fee, and every spring A.S. accepts funding requests from campus partners. The diligent student leaders painstakingly review each application and determine where the funds can be best used.
We ADVOCATE
to improve and grow the student experience at Cal Poly Humboldt. The elected student leaders work directly with staff, faculty, and administration to communicate and address student needs. A.S. is also responsible for appointing students to over 90 positions on over 40 campus committees - these student voices are imperative in ensuring that student input is considered when decisions affecting students are made.
Student Life Events Calendar
A.S. hosts and attends many events geared toward improving the life of students at Cal Poly Humboldt - we hope to see you at some of these upcoming events!
