Searching for Employment and Internships
Searching For Internships and Employment
- Job searching can be a tedious process, especially given the number of job search websites, having to navigate each platform, and keeping in mind that employers may choose not to advertise online but prefer in-person inquiries.
- When navigating job boards and different platforms, vary your search with keywords and filters, and be wary of postings that may seem too good to be true; scam posts are common. Do not give out personal information, and be sure to follow application directions for postings, submitting directly to an organization's website or employer's email is often the best option.
