Miranda Huntsinger

Hello my name is Miranda! I use she/her pronouns and I'm a First Year Practicum Trainee here at Cal Poly Humboldt. I received my associate’s degree in psychology, and I then transferred to UC Davis to complete my BA, along with a minor in Anthropology and Sociology. I have a background working with adolescents in an intensive outpatient treatment setting, where I developed a passion for supporting others through life’s challenges. 

I aim to offer a space that is entirely yours, a place where you feel free to be your authentic self, feel heard, and can collaborate on your course of treatment. I fundamentally believe that you are the expert of your own experiences. I am passionate about providing an understanding and accepting space for us to explore your goals, challenges, dreams, and struggles. To support this, I like incorporating mindfulness and various other tools and techniques in our work together. 

In my free time, I love to cook, watch funny TV shows, and try out new hobbies.
