E-Sports

At the Cal Poly Humboldt Esports Club, we aim to provide a competitive and professional environment for all students interested in competitive esports at Cal Poly Humboldt.  We aspire to make Cal Poly Humboldt an Esports Destination in the California State University system and a top competitor nationally.  Our goal is to connect students to the esports industry and allow then to purse leadership positions within the club.  Members in our club gain valuable experience as competitors, teammates, and leaders that apply to all aspects of life! Additionally, our members learn communication strategies and time management skills that will increase their success in the collegiate esports industry. Furthermore, these skills will help transition our members into the workforce as professionals.  

We compete in the National Esports Collegiate Conference,the largest Collegiate Esports Conference in North America.  NECC hosts a large amount of talent with over 400 different colleges from the US, US Territories and Canada competing in 8 titles.  We also try and compete in other one-off tournaments both held locally and nationally.

• Yearly $36 insurance fee
  • The school requires this fee to ensure our players are covered in case of emergencies
• $14 per semester Membership fee
  • This charge is to help the club maintain funds for semester events and club goals
