On November 5, 2025, leaders and partners from across the Redwood Region gathered at Robinson Rancheria for a day of collaboration, learning, and connection — advancing shared priorities for a more resilient, inclusive, and sustainable future.

The Convening brought together Tribal members and representatives, local governments, educators, and community organizations to strengthen partnerships and align around next steps for collective impact. Sessions explored policy literacy, healthy partnerships, career pathways, and grant readiness, all grounded in our region’s vision for sustainable prosperity.

Keynote speaker Connie Stewart, Executive Director of Initiatives at Cal Poly Humboldt, reminded participants that rebuilding rural California is generational work — and that RRRISE is building a new kind of table for collaboration, rooted in belonging and shared purpose

RRRISE has released a Follow-Up Packet featuring session highlights, resources, and ways to stay engaged — including the new Policy Working Group and upcoming Healthy Partnerships follow-up sessions. Together, we’re building a Redwood Region where collaboration, creativity, and care fuel the next generation of rural prosperity.
