Redwood Region RISE has released its second Semi-Annual Report, covering July through December 2025 and showcasing a region that is translating coordination into real, measurable impact.

Structured around RRRISE's Theory of Change, the report documents significant progress across all five priority sectors—Arts, Culture & Tourism; Health & Caregiving; Renewable & Resilient Energy; Working Lands & Blue Economy; and Workforce Development. Among the highlights: approximately 300 workers trained, ~40 paid internships created, 18 full-time and 24 seasonal jobs supported, and 8 new businesses launched—all in the first half of Catalyst Project implementation.

Beyond workforce outcomes, the period saw major milestones: Noyo Harbor cut the ribbon on a new Ice House strengthening the North Coast's blue economy; the HEART Hub healthcare training center entered architecture and permitting; Tribal-led energy projects expanded across four communities; and the North Coast Food System Network positioned a 15,000-square-foot food hub to break ground in 2026.

Perhaps most significantly, RRRISE secured $2.5 million in new private philanthropic funding—a signal of growing external confidence in the region's collaborative model and investment-readiness. Those funds were regranted to five projects focused on communities facing the greatest barriers to workforce participation.

The report also reflects RRRISE's deepening commitment to equity and Indigenous leadership, with the Equity Council elevated to a formal decision-making role and the Tribal Table advancing youth empowerment, Tribal business development, and a planned 2026 Tribal Gathering.
