RRRISE Planning Phase Meeting Materials (Archived)
Redwood Region RISE's "California Jobs First" Planning Phase spanned from March 2023 to September 2024, during which the RRRISE Collaborative developed comprehensive economic strategies for the region. A coalition of 150 member organizations—endorsed by communities in Tribal Lands, Del Norte, Humboldt, Lake, and Mendocino Counties—worked to craft targeted economic development approaches. Their primary objectives included identifying strategies to enhance job quality, support regional industries, and establish investment priorities.
Monthly Collaborative Meetings provided a platform for reviewing progress and planning future actions, with public participation actively encouraged. The Planning Phase was designed to culminate in a strategic Regional Roadmap designed to guide future economic development and drive transformative change in the Redwood Region.
