Food and Body Wisdom - Skillshops

Offered via the Library Skillshops:
a joint collaboration between a CAPS Therapist and a Health Educator!
First Thursday of each month: Feb. 5th, Mar. 5th, April 2nd, & May 7th
Location: Library, Room 114
Time: 12-1pm (and snacks will be provided!)
Exploring Body Image - February 5th
- ~ Mindfulness and body appreciation
- ~ Nurturing a more positive body image
- ~ Includes a guided meditation, journaling, art projects
Connecting to Hunger and Fullness - March 5th
- ~ Exploring hunger and fullness body cues
- ~ Intuitive eating
- ~ Mindful eating
- ~ Includes journaling, and a guided practice
Mindful Cooking and Eating - April 2nd
- ~ Exploring ideas for bringing more mindfulness and relaxation into the cooking and eating experience
- ~ Includes a mindful eating activity, with some snacks provided
Body Appreciation & Self Care - May 7th
- ~ Ideas for practicing body gratitude
- ~ Cultivating body appreciation
- ~ Tools for self care
