International Applicants requiring on-campus housing accommodations are strongly encouraged to apply as soon as possible, preferably by February 1st. While we accept applications through April 1st, applicants who apply for housing after March 1 cannot be guaranteed reserved space in on-campus accommodations.
Dates and Deadlines

| October 1, | Fall applications open | First day to apply to Humboldt for Fall. Apply online. |
| February 1 | Priority application and document deadline | Priority application deadline for Fall admission. We encourage early applications so that you can receive a decision early and begin the visa application process. |
| February | Housing applications open for review | The on-campus housing application is available to explore beginning early February. Students that have been admitted and have accepted their offer will have access to the Housing Portal. Log into myhousing.humboldt.edu to select your preferred living area and meal plan, read through documents and complete other preliminary information for securing on-campus housing. |
| February | Housing applications open for submission | Beginning mid-February you can officially submit the On-Campus Housing Application. If you have been admitted and have accepted your offer you will have access to the Housing Portal. If you have not been admitted, you will not be able to access the application. |
| April 1 | Final Application Deadline | Final date to apply for fall admission. |
| April 15 | Application document/file completion deadline | All required documents must be received. Incomplete applications will be withdrawn. We can accept scanned copies of transcripts and test scores to issue an admission decision. |
| May 15 | Final deadline to accept admission IHOOP completion deadline | Confirm your Intent to Enroll at Humboldt and pay your deposit. Complete the mandatory IHOOP program. |
| June 1 | Deadline to sign-up for Registration Tutorial Class Registration & Advising | Learn how to enroll in classes at Humboldt for fall semester! Complete the required online Registration & Advising Tutorial. After you complete the tutorial and meet with an academic advisor, you will register for classes. In-person registration is not available. This process must be completed online prior to arrival. |
| July 15 | Official Transcript/Document Deadline | Deadline to submit all official academic transcripts and test scores. |
| Week before classes begin | On-campus orientation(s) | Attend On-campus orientation and Welcome Events. |
