On-campus housing for spring applicants is not guaranteed. International Applicants requiring on-campus housing accommodations are strongly encouraged to apply as early as possible.
Dates and Deadlines

| August 1 | Spring applications open | First day to apply to Humboldt for Spring. Apply online. |
| October 1 | Application deadline | Final date to apply for spring admission. If you are a graduate student, please review department websites. Deadlines may be earlier. |
| October | Housing applications open | Beginning mid-October the Spring On-Campus Housing Application will open. If you have been admitted and have confirmed your intent to enroll for Spring you are eligible to access the Housing application and formally apply. If you have not been admitted, you will not be able to access the application. |
| October 15 | Application document deadline | All required documents must be received. Incomplete files will be withdrawn and applicants will be encouraged to reapply for the next application cycle. |
| November 15 | Intent to enroll deadline, and the IHOOP completion deadline | Confirm your Intent to Enroll at Humboldt and pay deposit. Complete the mandatory IHOOP program. To be eligible for course registration, you must confirm your intent to enroll AND complete IHOOP by this date. |
| First week in December | Advising & Class Registration | Complete the required online Registration & Advising Tutorial. After you complete the tutorial and meet with an academic advisor, you will register for classes. In-person registration is not available. This process must be completed online prior to arrival. |
| January 5 | Official Transcript/Test Deadline | Deadline to submit all official academic transcripts and test scores. |
| Week before classes begin | On-campus orientation(s) & Welcome Events | Settle into your housing and participate in the on-campus orientation(s) and Welcome Events. |
| Typically 3rd week of January | Classes begin | Spring classes begin. |
