Annika Botha

Hi! My name is Annika Botha. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology here at Cal Poly Humboldt, and now I am in my first year of graduate school in the Counseling Psychology program. I have a background in teaching sex education and working with minority groups. I am passionate about creating shame-free spaces for others to feel seen, heard, and accepted. I am interested in integrating trauma-focused therapy and Complex-PTSD, as well as emotionally focused therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy modalities. 

Outside of work and studies, I love to spend time cooking and baking, taking walks in the redwoods, listening to music, and hanging out with my loved ones.
