Bryan Ortega

Hello! My name is Bryan Ortega. I earned my bachelor degrees in Neurobiology and Psychology from UC Davis, and now I am a first year graduate student in the Cal Poly Humboldt Counseling Psychology Program. I am originally from Los Angeles, my background is in case management and social work with disenfranchised populations. I am passionate about being there for others and helping them navigate their view of themselves and the world. For counseling I am interested in integrating various aspects of psychodynamic, gestalt, mindfulness/acceptance and cognitive/dialectical frameworks, as well as family systems therapy.

My personal hobbies include baking, playing video games, watching anime, listening to music and reading.
