Apartments for Continuing and Transfer Students
Hinarr Hu Moulik (pronounced hee-NOD huh MOO-leek, meaning “Our Home” in Soulatuk, the Wiyot language), an amazing new addition to our housing community! We’re excited to welcome you to “Our Home,” where community and convenience come together. Located just a short distance away from our main on-campus housing, Hinarr Hu Moulik features two state-of-the-art buildings designed with comfort, functionality, and a sense of community in mind. The complex offers two-, three-, and four-bedroom apartment layouts. These apartments provide a blend of single and double occupancy rooms, a living room, and a fully equipped kitchen.
Residents will also enjoy a variety of on-site amenities, including: exercise gym, Café/Market, lounge and study spaces, outdoor recreation facilities and secured, covered bike parking with charging stations.
About Hinarr Hu Moulik Apartments
Each fully furnished apartment includes all the amenities to help make your stay more comfortable. Residents in each apartment are responsible for the cleaning of the common area kitchen, bathroom, living room, and hallway. Residents are responsible for supplying toiletries and bathroom tissue.
Hinarr Hu Moulik Apartments residents are required to purchase any one of the housing meal plans.
Parking at Hinarr Hu Moulik is limited to one permit per space, meaning the number of permits sold matches the number of available spots. Once those permits are sold out, residents will need to purchase a general campus parking permit and park in designated campus lots. Please be aware that the residential streets surrounding the Hinarr Hu Moulik complex require a City of Arcata parking permit. Residents of Hinarr Hu Moulik may not park in these areas, vehicles without a permit are subject to ticketing.
In addition, parking in front of the posts in the emergency access lane is strictly prohibited. Vehicles left in this area will be ticketed or towed.
Hinarr Hu Moulik is .5 miles from campus- just a quick 15 minute walk. Shuttle service is also available from Hinarr Hu Moulik to campus.
Residents of Hinarr Hu Moulik are not allowed to have microwaves and mini refrigerators in their bedrooms. Microwaves and refrigerators are provided in the kitchen area of each apartment. Students with medical needs requiring additional refrigeration space should contact the Campus Disability Resource Center at ada@humboldt.edu.

- Each room includes a closet, bed, dresser, and desk for each resident.
- Full dining and kitchen areas, complete with a radiant stovetop and oven, microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher.
