Our Current Hall of Simulation Docents

Erik Blanco

Hey! My name is Erik Blanco and I'm one of the Student Docents here at the Hall of Simulation. Whether you just want to take a look around, or maybe get to know one of our projects, I'm here Monday through Friday to assist. I'm an Environmental Engineering student, so I'm always ready to nerd out and showcase our awesome displays and technologies. I never get tired of sparking curiosity in visitors, so swing by throughout the summer and allow me to show you around!

Aaron Lim

Hi everyone! My name is Aaron Lim (Biology B.S.), and I'm one of your Student Docents here at the Hall of Simulation. If you're anything like me, you've probably already spent a few hours here on the second floor of the library. Whether that's logging time in the flight simulator, running through the fire and flood scenarios, or just poking around the physics demos, there's enough in the hall to find a good excuse to put off studying for a minute or two (or an hour). If you happen to catch me around, feel free to quiz me on the human body or botany—we can duke it out on the sim tables. Either way, whatever brings you in, I'd love to see you here!

Kaifer Cervantes

Hello! My name is Kaifer Cervantes and I’m currently a docent in the Hall of Simulation on the second floor of the Library. You can swing by and catch me in the evenings on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, where I’d be happy to show you all the wonderful things about our Hall of Simulation. About the Project

The Hall of Simulation is a developing, dynamic learning experience that combines simulation technology and peer-led programming to provide hands-on, informal learning to students and our community. This project seeks to fill a gap found in STEAM educational opportunities while also providing Student Docents an opportunity to practice curriculum development and public-facing communication skills. As the Hall grows and changes, we hope to encourage interdisciplinary education, creativity, and exploration, and above all, a joy for learning.
