About Study Spaces
Find your perfect study spot! Whether you're studying on your own or working with a group, the Library offers a variety of spaces to help you learn, collaborate, and focus.
While we don't currently offer reservable study rooms, you're welcome to use any empty classroom or meeting room. Simply check the reservation schedule posted outside the door, if the room isn't reserved, it's yours to enjoy.
Need a place to study after the Library is closed? Nelson Hall East 113 is open 24/7 with a couple of collaboration stations and microwaves.
Quiet Study Areas
Looking for a peaceful place to study? Our quiet study areas are located around the book stacks on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the Library. These spaces are marked in yellow on the floor maps and identified with "No Talking Zone" signs.
You'll find individual study carrels, tables and chairs, and window seating with beautiful campus views. For an even quieter experience, complimentary earplugs are available at the Checkout Desk.

Group Study
Study together! The Library offers a variety of spaces designed for collaboration, whether you're meeting with classmates, working on a group project, or simply looking for a comfortable place to study.
You'll find soft seating and tables throughout the building, convenient access to electrical outlets for charging devices, large group tables with collaboration stations and whiteboards on the 2nd and 3rd floors, and power strips available in many group study areas.
Looking for a place to relax or meet friends? The Library Café on the 1st floor is a welcoming spot to study, connect, or take a break.
Need a whiteboard? Portable whiteboards are available on all three floors and can be moved to create your own study space. Markers and erasers are available for checkout at the Checkout Desk.
You're also welcome to use any unreserved classroom or meeting room. Simply check the schedule posted outside the door. Please help us keep these spaces available by using them in ways that support the Library's learning environment.
