Crankstart Scholarship Program for CA Community College Transfer Students
Fund established to support non-traditional and low-income transfer students from California community colleges. The Crankstart Scholarship program bolsters the California State University system’s Graduation Initiative 2025, which is a comprehensive effort to close the achievement gap for traditionally underserved students.

Dan & Cindy Phillips Scholarship Fund
Endowment established to provide ongoing financial support for the Dan & Cindy Phillips Scholarship, which awards Southern Humboldt high school graduates who enroll at Cal Poly Humboldt either as transfer students from College of the Redwoods or as first-time freshmen. Each scholarship will be for up to $4,000. High school graduates who enroll as freshmen at Cal Poly Humboldt will receive $1,000 per year, up to four years. Those who attend College of the Redwoods and transfer to Cal Poly Humboldt will receive $2,000 per year, up to two years. A portion of the funding will also provide start-up support for a peer mentoring program.
