Hello! I'm Camille Charette, the Interim Special Collections Librarian at Cal Poly Humboldt for the Spring 2026 semester. I love helping students, faculty, and community members explore our rare books and unique materials, whether it’s for a class, a research project, a creative endeavor, or just curiosity. I'm here to help all visitors feel confident using these materials, especially if it’s your first time. 

When I'm not in the library, I can usually be found hiking the many local beach and forest trails or playing guitar. I recently moved to Humboldt County and have been enjoying discovering its history through our collections. There’s something interesting for everyone here, so please stop by and say hi.
