Immigration Rights and Resources for the Campus Community

Giving to the FSL

Support Indigenous food sovereignty and traditional ecological and cultural knowledges to build better futures for our planet. Your support will elevate our Lab for ongoing research that focuses on community engagement and generates knowledge about some of the most pressing social, environmental, and economic issues facing our students, communities, and the world.

To ensure students continue receiving the highest-quality education possible, we recommend three key areas where donors can make the greatest impact:

  1. Operating Budget: The Rou Dalagurr Food Sovereignty Lab & TEK Institute is not funded by the university. Your donations allow us to continue our work by paying students and our staff, and maintain an operating budget.
  2. Indigenous Foods Festival: Our annual Indigenous Foods Festival focuses on uplifting Indigenous food sovereignty across many regions. The event includes tabling, workshops, demonstrations, educational materials, food, and art.
  3. Chef-In-Residence: The Rou Dalagurr Food Sovereignty Lab supports Indigenous chefs-in-residence to spotlight the work of important contributors to the Indigenous food sovereignty movement and provide access to workshops and demonstrations for students and community members.
