Choosing Courses
First and Second Year Students (first-year and sophomore students): Focus on General Education and All-University Requirements (GEAR) courses and classes numbered 100–299. These courses are usually the best fit for students early in their degree.
Upper division students (juniors and seniors): You may consider courses at any level if you meet the prerequisites and enrollment restrictions. Check with your academic advisor to confirm how a course will apply to your degree.
