Jorge Pelayo

Jorge moved to Humboldt County from Calexico California in 1997. He immediately fell in love with Humboldt. When he turned 18 years old, he started working at The Sun Valley Group in Arcata, CA, where he worked for almost 20 years. Jorge joined SPF in November 2024 and also joined the 3-time undefeated kickball team, "2 Legit 2 Kick." According to coworkers, he was the MVP! 

The more Jorge learns and involves himself in the Cal Poly Humboldt activities, the prouder he is  and considers himself lucky to be part of such a genuine group of kindhearted people. In his free time he enjoys cooking, making salsa and spending time with family and friends.
