Graduate Student Research Assistant

Tressa Kapuslele Moore (She/her) is a graduate student under the Environment and Community M.A., program at Cal Poly Humboldt. She also currently holds a Native American Studies Bachelor’s degree. Tressa is a queer Mountain Maidu person who grew up in Northern California. Tressa is a Graduate Student Research Assistant with the Good Fire Healing Coalition Project at the Food Sovereignty Lab. Tressa’s interests lie around Native Language reawakening and learning and how that can be implemented into other work around Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK) and Food Sovereignty.
